Beneficiaries
Please return for updates for the 2026 beneficiaries.
Grant applications and instructions will be available in 2026, and grants are awarded in the spring of odd-numbered years. To apply for a grant, please follow the instructions on our Foundation website: https://www.houstonkappas.org/public5.asp
According to the policies of Kappa Kappa Gamma Charitable Foundation, agencies applying for grants must be verified as legitimate 501(c)(3), 170(b)(1)(A)(v), or 17(c)(1) tax-exempt organizations, must be located within the greater Houston area, and must be involved in the area of early childhood education and development.
The foundation supports requests for specific purposes rather than for a general building fund or operating expenses.
About the Foundation
Since 1980, the Kappa Kappa Gamma Charitable Foundation of Houston, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has contributed millions of dollars to local charities in the greater Houston area. The recipients utilize the donations for programs, facilities, equipment, and scholarships for thousands.
Our Board is honored to be part of a wonderful tradition of giving back to the Houston community, and we are grateful for the generosity of our donors. We work together to fulfill our mission to attract and generate financial support for distribution to charitable organizations that meet the established
philanthropic guidelines.

The Foundation’s philanthropic focus is early childhood education and development, with a specific preference for programs that address the needs of children in the first six years of life living in low-income households. We are honored to fund Houston area 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations that provide high-quality early childhood education and development programs that contribute to well-educated and healthy children, strong families and a vibrant Houston community.
In recent years, grant requests have increased dramatically to meet the significant needs in our local community, and grants awarded have steadily increased. In 2025, we provided $449,150 in grant funding to 25 outstanding local non-profit organizations. Funds for the charitable grants are raised through the 2026 Kappa Holiday Luncheon, our new 2026 Key To Design: A Tablescape Event, and the philanthropic gifts of our individual members.
